We’re proud to share that our animated short film, Christopher & The Bug, was an official selection at the Regina International Film Festival & Awards (RIFFA) 2025, where it was also honored as a nominee for Best Animated Short.
The film screened to an engaged and thoughtful audience, as part of RIFFA’s dynamic lineup of international and Canadian cinema. The festival, held annually in Regina, Saskatchewan, is known for its inclusive, artist-driven programming — making it a fitting home for Christopher & The Bug.

Attending the festival on behalf of the film were Vanessa Esteves, (Director, Writer, Producer) and Kevin Micallef (Director), who took part in Q&As, networking events, and engaged with fellow filmmakers and festival-goers throughout the event. It was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate the craft of animation and connect directly with audiences.
